Welcome to Jahnavi Centre For Performing Arts

Inspired by the sacred river Jahnavi (Ganga – গঙ্গা), a timeless symbol of purity, wisdom and spiritual awakening, Jahnavi Centre for Performing Arts has been nurturing the rich heritage of Indian classical arts since 2000.

Under the artistic leadership of Madhuboni Chatterjee, the institute has spent over two decades shaping classical dancers, creative performers and thoughtful individuals contributing to Bengal’s cultural legacy. Jahnavi Centre for Performing Arts was founded with a vision to preserve and promote the aesthetics and spirituality of Bharatanatyam and Indian culture. Jahnavi aims at provides a holistic learning environment where tradition meets creativity.

Beyond dance education and training, Jahnavi encourages students to embrace literature, music, painting, festivals and cultural values as an integral part of their artistic journey. Through discipline, devotion and creative expression, the institute continues to inspire generations to celebrate Indian heritage with pride and purpose.
